Yesterday began my Visual Studio 2008 (Prof.) rumzuzicken suddenly and for no apparent reason. When loading projects ever came the error message:
error to load the package: The package "Microsoft.VisualStudio.xaml" was not properly loaded. ...
A repair (via uninstall / change) helped not be here. A Google search yielded to German or very little, so here is the note, which I ultimately helped: I'm over it installed the Visual Studio 2008 SP1 again (although my CD this includes already) and this has finally fixed the problem. If necessary. before installing the SP1 nor the Service Pack Preparation Tool run.
